The Art of our Community

Welcome to the LAGS

The Lunenburg Art Gallery Society was founded in 1972 under the auspices of the Heritage Society, initially to provide a home and display area for a collection of paintings by noted local artist, Earl Bailly. LAGS has since evolved into an independent non-profit society with approximately 150 members and our bright Lincoln Street gallery is a popular art destination.

About Our Gallery

Everyone is Welcome

We welcome artists with every level of skill and experience. You don't even have to be an artist! All you have to do is join.

In 2022 we will mount a new Member Exhibition on the first Friday of every month, April - October. For an annual membership fee of $40 ($20 for students) every member can participate in each of these shows.

We are a volunteer-run gallery and we encourage all members to donate time and skills if possible. Please note there is a 40% commission on all sales of artwork.

Please visit us in March for this excellent extravaganza of art by kids in grade 6-12 from across the South Shore. 2022 Participating schools TBA. Open Thursdays thru Sundays from 11am - 4pm.
