Celebrating 50 Years!
Welcome to the LAGS
The Lunenburg Art Gallery Society was founded in 1972 under the auspices of the Heritage Society, to provide a home and display area for a collection of paintings by local artist, Earl Bailly. LAGS has since evolved into an independent society with around 150 members and our bright Lincoln Street gallery is a popular destination.

The Art of Our Community
Everyone is Welcome
We welcome artists with every level of skill and experience. You don't even have to be an artist! All you have to do is join.
In 2022 we will mount a new Member Exhibition on the first Friday of every month, April - October. For an annual membership fee of $40 ($20 for students) every member can participate in each of these shows.
We are a volunteer-run gallery and we encourage all members to donate time and skills if possible. Please note there is a 40% commission on all sales of artwork.

50th Anniversary Celebrations
2022 is a special year for LAGS as we celebrate our 50th anniversary in conjunction with The Lunenburg Heritage Society and the Lunenburg Library. Please join us as we look back on all our many locations, familiar faces, special programs and favourite memories. A special two-month retrospective of Earl Bailly's Lunenburg paintings will be on view at the gallery from June 3rd until July 31st and our regular gallery season is shaping up to be the most exciting one to date.
