The Lunenburg Art Gallery Society is a non profit organization serving the historic, picturesque town of Lunenburg, on the south shore of Nova Scotia, a popular travel destination.  It was founded in 1972 under the auspices of the Lunenburg Heritage Society. The purpose of the Lunenburg Art Gallery Society is to promote the appreciation of art in the Town of Lunenburg and surrounding areas.

The Gallery provides a public venue for local, provincial and international artists to exhibit their work to the public. It sponsors workshops for artists and exhibitions by Lunenburg County school children.

The Lunenburg Art Gallery Foundation is the fund raising arm of the Lunenburg Art Gallery.
