Welcome to LAGS
The Lunenburg Art Gallery Society was founded in 1972 under the auspices of the Heritage Society, to provide a home for a paintings by local artist, Earl Bailly. LAGS has since evolved into an independent society with over 150 members and our Lincoln Street gallery is a popular destination.
The Art of Our Community
Everyone is Welcome
We welcome artists with every level of skill and experience. You don't even have to be an artist! All you have to do is join.

In 2024 we will mount a new exhibition on the first Friday of every month, April - October. For an annual membership fee of $40 ($20 for students) every member can participate in each of these shows.
We are a volunteer-run gallery and we encourage all members to donate time and skills if possible. Please note there is a 40% commission on all sales of artwork.

Not My Thing
The theme for this month's members show is any subject matter, style or technique that’s new to the artist. Intake: Sunday, April 28th & Monday, April 29th from 1-4pm. Gallery hours are Wednesdays thru Sundays from 11am-4pm, Mondays and Tuesdays by chance or appointment.
Each month, a different artist fills our bookshelves with a collection of Small Stuff. May's Small Stuff Artist is Kate Church.

Loud and Proud
Our third member show of the season will be our annual celebration of Pride Month, or any other expression that's Loud and Proud.
Each month, a different artist fills our bookshelves with a collection of Small Stuff. June's Small Stuff Artist is cermacist Susan Delatour.
Be sure to join us for our first reception of the year as part of Lunenburg's First Fridays Art Walk, beginning Friday June 7th from 5pm. After that, gallery hours are Wednesday thru Sunday from noon till 4pm.
Member's intake/outtake is Sunday, June 2nd and Monday, June 3rd from 1-4pm. Please register your artwork before Friday, May 31st.
