Lezlie Morgan is from Bridgewater, in Lunenburg County on the beautiful south shore of Nova Scotia. A self taught artist, she paints in a casual, representational style. The subjects of her paintings reflect the nostalgic, easy-going, comfortable pace of life found in Lunenburg County, the landscape, the sea and the people of the area. She uses professional materials to create her transparent watercolours and framing is chosen to compliment the character of the painting. She had her first solo show at the Lunenburg Art Gallery in 2000 and has shown her works in numerous shows throughout Lunenburg County. Her works have found homes across Canada, the USA, Bermuda and Europe.
