Subjects: Maritime scenes, fishing boats, wharves, seagulls

Laurie retired early from her career as an educator to move home to Nova Scotia and to paint full-time. Her visual subject matter is found in fishing coves along the South Shore of Nova Scotia. She has shown successfully and recently had a major exhibit at the Lunenburg Art Gallery.
