She has won many awards for her realistic watercolours, has had her work in galleries in Winnipeg, Toronto, Cuba and the USA, and for a number of years taught watercolour painting in Winnipeg and at the International Peace Gardens. Many of her paintings, including numerous portraits, can be found in private collections throughout North America, Great Britain, Japan and Europe. Carol was the first artist to be asked by the Schizophrenic Research and Treatment Foundation of Manitoba to create a special painting to be reproduced as limited edition prints for their fund raising purposes. In relocating to Nova Scotia, Carol opens her home as Spirit Song Gallery from June through the first weekend in October to display and sell her own work exclusively. She is an elected member of the CANADIAN SOCIETY OF PAINTERS IN WATER COLOUR (CSPWC).
